“Singing In My Chains", which title refers to Dylan’s masterwork poem “Fern Hill”, is a collection of anecdotes of Dylan’s life together with readings from his poems and short stories including excerpts from “A Child’s Christmas in Wales”.

The performance lasts approximately 1hr. 15 min with a short interval.

Ian Griffiths was born and grew up in Swansea in Wales a few streets away from the birthplace also of the renowned poet Dylan Thomas. Though after Dylan’s time the landscape and people he grew up amongst were still as to be found throughout Dylan’s work. A poet himself he was enamoured of Dylan’s work in his youth and the sound of his voice and readings as could be heard on the old Vinyl LPs. Living now in East Anglia Ian has performed Dylan’s poetry as well as his own at home and abroad.
